Mazda CX-3

The Mazda CX-3 is offered with an array of engines, such as a 1.5 L and 2.0 four cylinder gasoline engine, and a 1.5 L SkyActiv-D diesel engine. Mazda CX-3 sales began in the United States in the end of 2015 as a model for 2016. It replaced the similar Mazda 2 subcompact in the market in North America.

Across the model lineup, power is provided by a 2.0 litre SkyActiv-G engine that develops 146 bhp (108 kW) and 146 lb-ft (197 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six speed automatic transmission that can be paired to an optional all wheel drive system.

The entry level Mazda CX-3 Sport, Touring and Grand Touring all feature cruise control, power windows / lock and a 60/40 split folding rear seat. Other highlights include a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and a MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system with a seven inch display as standard equipment.

In Asia, the Mazda  CX-3 is sold in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, and will be introduced progressively from 2016. Similarly, the CX-3 is offered with a 2.0 four cylinder gasoline engine or a 1.5 L SkyActiv-D diesel engine.

The 2018 Mazda CX-3 facelift has arrived in Malaysia, it equipped 2.0 litre SkyActiv-G naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, which is paired to a six-speed SkyActiv-Drive automatic transmission. The mill has been refined to deliver torque across a wider rev range and better efficiency,  151 hp at 6,000 rpm and 204 Nm of torque at 2,800 rpm. Mazda’s G-Vectoring Control (GVC) system, which was I ntroduced last year, remains in place. Priced at RM130,159, It is still a fully-imported (CBU) model and each purchase includes a five-year/100,000 km warranty

Exterior revisions on the facelifted Mazda CX-3 include a new grille that features double chrome slats, additional chrome accents, darkened fog lamp surrounds.

The centre console has been redesigned to accommodate the new gear lever base, repositioned Sport mode selector and MZD Connect controls, and the addition of an electronic parking brake switch. An armrest that covers a storage area beneath it, plus there’s also a new centre armrest in the rear with built-in, deployable cupholders. The dashboard also gets a few revisions – slimmer air-con vents, shorter chrome bar and suede-like trim, thicker door panels, tailgate glass and headliner as well as upgraded door seals help improve the vehicle’s NVH.

As for others equipments, LEDs for the automatic headlamps, front fog lights and taillights, keyless entry and start, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-position memory function, automatic wipers, single-zone automatic air-conditioning, a coloured heads-up display, paddle shifters, cruise control, MZD Connect infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen, six speakers, reverse camera and auto-dimming rear view mirror and etc.

As for safety features of Mazda CX-3, Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert have been added. Both systems join existing ones such as ABS with EBD and brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), six airbags and ISOFIX rear child seat anchors.
